"New Age Musica" is a piano school located in the Torrevecchia area of Rome. We offer exclusively private and individual piano lessons for both adults and children who want to approach this musical instrument in a fun way, as well as for anyone looking for a high level of professionalism.
A Piano School for Everyone
The school directed by Maestro Gabriele Tosi aims to help students approach piano study with motivation and consistency, allowing them to play their first classical or modern pieces after just a few lessons. Like any academic subject, studying the piano requires dedicating time, patience, and dedication to the instrument.
Whether you are an adult starting from scratch or resuming piano playing after years, or a child encouraged by parents to learn, every person has their own unique path. The piano teacher's role is to help each student express their full potential and develop a positive passion for music.
The Piano Lesson
During the piano lesson, essential topics for a beginner pianist are covered: reading notes in treble and bass clefs, basic piano technique, playing easy four-hand or two-hand pieces with the teacher's guidance, and exploring singer-songwriter and modern repertoires. Studying modern pieces also helps students understand basic harmonies, which they can use immediately to compose original pieces.
For more experienced pianists who have already studied the piano, pieces from the classical repertoire (such as Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy) are selected, focusing on advanced technique, score analysis, and references to harmony and melodic construction.
When requested, more demanding study programs can be arranged to prepare for admission exams for musical high schools or Conservatories, or piano competitions, which are generally aimed at younger and more talented students.
Piano lessons take place in the studio or, upon request, at home. They are always individual lessons lasting one hour. For younger students, shorter lessons are recommended.
